Privacy Policy for "Kamkalima" Application

1- General Terms

  1. The company "Kamkalima" S.A.L. ("Company"), owner of the Kamkalima application ("Application"), relies on a high-level privacy policy where the company ensures that the personal data it collects through the application is not released, except as may be necessary for the technical and commercial operation of the Company's activities and within the terms and conditions of application and the applicable legal provisions. The application must inform the user of all activities and be informed to collect such information no later than the moment of collection.

  2. The Company has the absolute right to update this Privacy Policy and publish it on the App to reflect changes in the Application and the services provided. However, this does not change its primary objective of protecting the privacy of the User, who is considered to agree to any modification of the current Policy by using his account on the Application after the date of the last Update.

  3. The mere use of the Kamkalima application services constitutes the user's explicit consent to grant the company the right to collect, preserve, disclose, and use personal information following this privacy policy.

  4. The company uses personal data collected through the application fairly and legally for the specified purposes. The user must be given access to his data, and the company ensures that the user's data is maintained by taking all necessary technical and organizational measures.

  5. The Application shall not transfer the User's data to any other party or person unless the User explicitly agrees.

  6. The application must save the user's personal information from the activation of his account until the deactivation of this account for whatever reason.

  7. Any modification or change in ownership of the application, which may result in the sale or transfer of a whole or part of the company's assets (the "operation"), at which time the user's data is considered to be part of such assets covered by the process. The contractor and the user are notified via email before any transfer of ownership of the contractor's personal information is made and accessed. If the process results in any modification of how personal information is used compared to what was specified when it was collected, the user and/or contractor may reject the amended privacy policy and refrain from using the application.

2- Data and information collection

  1. The user for whom an account is registered on the application must provide the company with specific and personal information in the form of completing certain fields that the company may deem necessary to provide services so that the company determines what mandatory information and optional information the user discloses for the application.

  2. The company automatically collects some information related to the user's activity on the app and uses this information to study the demography of its users as well as their interests and activity on the app. This is part of the understanding of the user's requirements, protection, service, and community service. This information may include the identifier of the information site or Internet address ("URL") through which the user logs access and the address he uses later (no matter whether that address is on the app or not) as well as the user's data and Internet Protocol address.

3- Control of data

The company ensures that the user can:

View personal data held by the company on a particular user. Request to modify or delete any inaccurate, irrelevant, or outdated personal data. Choose to stop using the Services and delete their data, if such deletion is permitted by law and/or will not prejudice the Company's position on the Law.

4- Security of data preservation

The company and employees who have access to databases that store user information or servers that host services, adhere to strict security rules. Sensitive data must be stored in encrypted mode.

5- Disclosure or disclosure of data

  1. The company shall not disclose data unless it is bound by law, judicial decision, or is explicitly authorized by the user concerned;

  2. Data shall be disclosed if the rights or property of the company, affiliates, application, or service providers are compromised, as well as if the personal integrity of the user or another person is at risk.

  3. The Company is obliged not to sell data to third parties unless it has explicitly obtained the User's consent.

  4. The company stores data for a period that may be necessary to comply with legal requirements.

6- Error reports and statistics

The app uses Firebase to collect error reports and statistics to ensure the quality and functionality of features. The data collected is neither stored nor held outside the Firebase platform, and the previously mentioned data does not contain the username or device IP.

The application does not support the e-mail login feature but only provides the student with a username sent by the teacher or supervisor who has exclusive authority to organize the students' accounts in the "Kamkalima" app. The application is intended for students and therefore does not support the functionality of creating a new student account. Accordingly, the data collected does not contain any personal information about the user. Crash-related data is collected exclusively, using crash reports to improve the user's experience.

7- Advertisements

The app does not contain ads by any provider and is not used to promote products or videos that are not suitable for children.
